- Power on New Switch and Connect it to a Existing Switch on the Company Network using a Ethernet cable
- Make Sure the Port on the Existing Switch is Set to Management VLAN (v0010)
- MAKE SURE TO BE IN RIGHT LOCATION
- Go to Unifi and Adopt the Switch (https://10.0.12.227:8443/manage/account/login )
- If the New Switch is Not Showing up, Refer to https://helpdesk.sssteiner.com/a/solutions/articles/16000090587
- Once Switch is Adopted, Upgrade if needed
- Check Network Monitor to see available names and IP addresses. ( http://wc-iis02/intranet/it/status.php?filter=multiple&pp=yes&he=yes&ny=yes )
- Select New Switch and Go to the Config Tab (Gear Icon)
- Change Name of Switch in the General Drop Down *Save*
- Set Management VLAN to 0010 in the Services Drop Down *Save*
- On Existing Switch change the port connected to the new Switch to Trunk
- On New Switch Go to the Network Drop Down in the Config tab and Set Appropriate Network Settings (See other Switches for Reference)
